Offers a patented purification system that is unlike any other on the market today. Using an innovative backwashing and regeneration system, many of the Wellness Filter¨ models offer users a virtually permanent filter that never needs replacement cartridges or chemicals. The Wellness kitchen unit, for example, has been tested to NSF standards and has been shown to reduce chlorine by 99.9% for over 28,000 gallons -- the equivalent of 28 years usage for an average family of four. Designed to satisfy the rigorous standards of the World Health Organization, the Wellness Filter¨ removes an extremely broad range of contaminates. Filters are available in whole house, kitchen, shower, carafe, and travel configurations...a model for every conceivable need.

The Wellness Filter

Uniquely enhances certain properties of water that improve its already vital role in our health, fitness and wellness. This enhancement process is available in every model of Wellness Filter¨ we offer. Enhancement takes place in the body of the filter after the purification process is completed. Water is directed through multiple layers of rare Japanese minerals, high gauss magnets and proprietary ceramics before the enhancement process is completed.

Wellness Filter¨ has been shown to differ from regular tap or filtered water in four ways:

• Increased solubility - NEC Corporation independently tested Wellness Filtered water and found it to have an unexpected increase in solubility...over 100%. This means that it is more capable of dissolving compounds whether they are vitamins entering your body or dirt on your clothes.

• Increased hydration - Wellness Filter¨ water hydrates the body faster and also leaves the body faster. This improves water's critical ability to aid the body in transport of essential nutrients and the elimination of waste byproducts.

• Addition of trace minerals - The mineral media in each filter is designed to slowly release critical trace minerals such as silica, magnesium, and yttrium. These trace minerals have been found to improve cellular function and now added to many nutritional supplements.

• Negative ions - Each Wellness Filter¨ releases naturally-formed, negative ions into each quantity of water produced. These ions act like antioxidants do and neutralize free radicals...a principal cause of aging and certain diseases like cancer...inside and outside your body.

Taichoseki is a proprietary media used in all Wellness Filters¨. On December 15, 1990, the Kitazato Medical School of Public Health in Tokyo, having found that it greatly inhibits the growth of fungus and bacteria, approved Taichoseki mineral stone as a natural disinfectant . The Medical School's studies found that water treated by Taichoseki mineral stone slows down and even stops the growth of fungus and bacteria, including staphylococcus aureus, bacillus subtilis, aspergillus niger, myrothecium verrucaria, trichophyton interdigitale, and candida albicans. This mineral also removes iron, cadmium, and many harmful substances in tap water.

Bakuhanseki is a proprietary media used in all Wellness Filters¨. On October 15, 1995, the Japanese Government's Ministry of Health, Drug Approval Division, gave their approval of the bakuhanseki stone as an approved medicine. The stone is approved for medical purposes in powdered form (oral or skin application), dissolved in water, and for use in water filters for bathing and drinking. The Ministry of Health uses Wellness Filter¨ water in their hospitals and in many of their approved health bathing spas. (Note: Because the Bakuhanseki mineral stone is designated as a medicine, treatments in health spas are covered by Japanese Government medical plans.) The Bakuhan mineral adjusts the water to a stable alkaline pH, increases dissolved oxygen, removes harmful substances and enhances the taste of the water. It will also remove lead, mercury, and chromium from tap water. It imparts trace Angstrom size minerals (silica, potassium, and magnesium).

SPG Sand - Obtained from volcanic rocks, the surface area of this material is 6.16 sq. meters per gram and provides 0.5-micron level filtration. Produces high efficiency filtration, removes parasites and adsorbs trace heavy metals, and yields very pure water.

Granulated Activated Carbon - Made from highest quality coconut shell carbon. Removes chlorine, chlorinated hydrocarbons, organics, volatiles, MTBE, tastes and odors.

Magnet & Magnetite Stone - High flux density (greater than 4,500 gauss) magnetic stone and magnets create magnetic field in filter for magnetic resonance activation of the water. Lowers surface tension, increases solubility and increases absorptivity.

Far-Infrared Ceramic - Proprietary ceramic media made from far infrared emitting stone at 2,200¡F. Produces hydroxyl ions and hydrogen ions, which neutralize free radicals. Believed to aid the body in fighting immune disorders, diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.

NOTE ON FLUORIDE:

The Wellness Filter’s unique purification system will remove the trace radioactive and heavy metal contaminants contained in the hydrofluorosilic acid to produce calcium fluoride a naturally occurring form of fluoride found in mineral spring. Unlike the other forms of fluoride, calcium fluoride is non-toxic, is not retained in the body and is completely excreted in the urine.
