| A | Dr. Lanphier's AnswerThe groups below may maintain a database of physicians who will support you. Please check out the following websites:
It can be difficult to find a physician that fully supports your philosophy on vaccines, but do not give up. Make an appointment for an interview and offer to pay for the doctor’s time to answer your questions as many will not grant an interview unless they receive compensation. During the interview, respect the doctor’s time and come prepared with your questions. This is not the time to be confrontational or to give a dissertation on the cons of vaccinations as you are there for information only. However, it would be a good time to leave information that would be good education for the doctor to look at in his leisure. You may have to be satisfied with a pediatrician who respects your right to choose, and who will not release you from the practice for exercising your rights. We have found that family practice doctors seem to be more open to vaccination choices than pediatricians. Take Care & Be Well, |
