With all the emphasis on the quality of our outdoor air, land, and water over the past few decades, it seems that the safety of the environment inside our homes — where we typically spend a majority of our time — was somewhat overlooked. Many studies have proven that the quality of the air in our homes is, in general, much worse than average outdoor air. Scientists have labeled this phenomenon “sick building syndrome,” and it is largely the result of two major factors. First, most modern homes are overflowing with toxic chemicals from construction materials, cleaning supplies, and the like. Secondly, with the emphasis on energy conservation, homes are now much more air-tight than in the past, and this lack of ventilation only compounds the problems.

Healthy Home or Toxic Home? — Go Green!
Monday, June 22nd, 2009EPA Gives Blessing to Controversially High Levels of Chemical
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009In a move that some consider a perk for chemical companies, the outgoing Bush administration has approved increased drinking water levels of a toxin used in the manufacture of certain non-stick coatings. As the article below points out, many scientists and consumer advocates are concerned that such levels of PFOA may pose both short-term and long-term public health hazards.
Environmental Toxins in the Workplace
Thursday, December 6th, 2007A recent outbreak of a rare neurological disease at a Minnesota pork processing plant brings to light several major health concerns: safety in the workplace, the increase in autoimmune diseases, and the dangers of vaccines. The article below discusses how the State of Minnesota Health Department is concerned that exposure to raw pork may be linked to the development of an autoimmune disease called CIPD in an unusually high number of workers at the facility. A form of CIPD has also been identified as a proven risk associated with the swine flu vaccine administered to about 43 million Americans in 1976.
Clean Water – Hydration for Wellness
Monday, November 5th, 2007Hydration is the most important thing that we can do to keep our cells functioning normally. When drinking a lot of juices, teas, etc. it is easy to neglect pure, clean water and the body’s need for it. All the body wants and needs for hydration is water. Once you become dehydrated it takes at least 3x the normal fluid to get the body back to a hydrated state. A good recommendation is to drink ½ your body weight in ounces of pure, clean (preferably NOT in a plastic bottle) water every day. It may be difficult at first, but soon your natural thirst will take over and all you will want is water.
FDA’s Prescription for Diaster
Monday, July 30th, 2007As the implementation of CODEX draws closer for America, we are witnessing events that are supressing our basic freedom of speech. If Americans don’t wake up, we are going to find ourselves without supplements and a food and water supply that are so adulterated that it does nothing for the body but keep it sick. We have allowed the adulteration of our water, food, air and even emotions through the junk that comes across media, magazines and newspapers. It’s time for Americans to stand up and say “Enough!” We need a Boston Tea Party in the name of Health and Wellness. Gary Null puts it all together, very nicely, in the video below. Be sure to watch the entire video and take notes!
