What Are Germs?

Some may think that germs are bugs or other gross stuff. Actually, germs are tiny organisms, or living things, that can cause disease. Germs are so small and sneaky that they creep into our bodies without being noticed. In fact, germs are so tiny that you need to use a microscope to see them. When they get in our bodies, we don't know what hit us until we develop symptoms of illness.

What Types of Germs Are There?

Germs are found all over the world, in all kinds of places. There are four major types of germs: bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. They can invade plants, animals, and people, and many times they make us sick.

Bacteria are tiny, one-cell creatures that get nutrients from their environments in order to live. In some cases that environment is a human body. Bacteria can reproduce outside of the body or within the body as they cause infections. Some infections bacteria cause include sore throats, ear infections, cavities, and pneumonia.

But not all bacteria are bad. Some bacteria are good for our bodies - they help keep things in balance. Good bacteria live in our intestines and help us use the nutrients in the food we eat and make waste from what's left over. We couldn't make the most of a healthy meal without these important helper germs!

Viruses can't live outside of living cells. They need to be in or on a living thing like a plant, animal, or person in order to grow and reproduce. Whatever a virus lives in is called its host. When viruses get inside people's bodies, they can spread and make people sick. Viruses cause chicken pox, measles, flu, and many other diseases.

Fungi are multi-cell, plant-like organisms. Unlike other plants, fungi cannot make their own food from soil, water, and air. Instead, fungi get their nutrition from plants, people, and animals. They love to live in damp, warm places, and most fungi are not dangerous. An example of something caused by fungi is athlete's foot and yeast infections.

Protozoa are one-cell organisms that love moisture and often spread diseases through water. Some protozoa cause intestinal infections that lead to diarrhea, nausea, and stomach pain.

  Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too.

  Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick.
• Clean your hands.

We start with distilled water and pass it through the wellness water enhancement system containing the following elements;

Taichoseki is a proprietary media used in all Wellness Filters¨. Water treated with Taichoseki mineral stone slows down and even stops the growth of fungus and bacteria, including staphylococcus aureus, bacillus subtilis, aspergillus niger, myrothecium verrucaria, trichophyton interdigitale, and candida albicans.

Bakuhanseki is a proprietary media used in all Wellness Filters¨. The Japan Ministry of Health uses Wellness Filter¨ water in their hospitals and in many of their approved health bathing spas. The Bakuhanseki mineral adjusts the water to a stable alkaline pH, increases dissolved oxygen, removes harmful substances and enhances the taste of the water. It will also remove lead, mercury, and chromium from tap water. It imparts trace Angstrom size minerals (silica, potassium, and magnesium).

SPG Sand - Obtained from volcanic rocks. Produces high efficiency filtration, removes parasites and absorbs trace heavy metals, and yields very pure water.

Granulated Activated Carbon - Made from highest quality coconut shell carbon. Removes chlorine, chlorinated hydrocarbons, organics, volatiles, MTBE, tastes and odors.

Magnet & Magnetite Stone - High flux density (greater than 4,500 gauss) magnetic stone and magnets create magnetic field in filter for magnetic resonance activation of the water. Lowers surface tension, increases solubility and increases cellular absorption.

Far-Infrared Ceramic - Proprietary ceramic media made from far infrared emitting stone at 2,200¡F. Produces hydroxyl ions and hydrogen ions, which neutralize free radicals.  

Colloidal Silver - Colloidal silver has long been used for its anti-bacterial properties. Colloidal silver has been reputed to be helpful against more than 650 diseases.

Lavender Essential Oil (France) - Organic, cold-pressed and premium grade. Lavender is antibacterial and anti-viral. Spray in a "sick" room to kill circulating germs. Spray on the furnace filter to kill house-hold germs naturally. Lavender is very calming and good for depression and frazzled nerves.

Lemon Essential Oil (Italy) - Indigenous to China, lemon was brought to the West by Arabian travelers who regarded it for its refreshing, cleansing and essential antioxidant qualities. Lemon is antiseptic and antibacterial.

Tea Tree Oil (Manuka) (New Zealand) - Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal. Potent germ fighter.

Eucalyptus Oil (Lemon) (India) - Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal.

Rosemary Essential Oil (Rosmarinus Officinalus – Tunisia) – Anti-microbial properties.

Usage

Shake well before using. Spray once on hands or anywhere germs may be present. Allow to dry. Do not spray in eyes. Keep away from small children. May also be used as a room spray.

Packaged in glass bottles: Oasis Advanced Wellness products that contain essential oils are packaged in glass bottles. Our essential oils come from all over the world and are of the highest quality available. We do not use plastic bottles because of the possibility of chemical reactions that may take place when the oils come in contact with plastic. Because we care about the purity of our product and the total health of our customers, we choose to pay extra for packaging that will ensure that you are protected. If you are concerned about breakage when using and transporting Germ Fighter Spray, we suggest wrapping a small amount of bubble wrap around the glass portion of the bottle.

Important Note: Germ Fighter Spray is made with natural oils and wellness water. Oil and water do not mix so the bottle must be shaken vigorously before spraying and you should stop to shake it again while spraying. We do not use an emulsifier as we believe that this may be the reason that some essential oil products do not work effectively in that the emulsifiers may inhibit some of the effectiveness of essential oils. Spray well on your hands, door knobs, phone receiver, steering-wheel, shopping cart hand rest or anything that your hands may touch, etc. Don't open the bottle and pour some in your hand to get it on faster because you will pour all the oil out as it is on top of the water and what remains in the bottle is too weak and will not work again. We have added rosemary oil as an anti-microbial agent. DO NOT under any circumstances drink it or spray it in the mouth as an allergic reaction could occur. Essential oils are very strong and could cause severe stomach ache if a large amount is ingested.
