What Is Oasis Gold™ Moroccan Argan Oil?
Oasis Gold™ Moroccan Argan oil is an oil produced from the kernels of the exotic argan tree, endemic to Morocco, that is highly valued for its nutritive, cosmetic as well as numerous medicinal properties. There are two grades of Argan oil – cosmetic and culinary. The major difference between the two grades of Argan oil is that the food grade Argan oil is roasted before it is grinded to extract the oil so as to make it edible. The cosmetic Argan oil grade is cold-pressed from raw Argon seeds and not roasted so as to retain its high amounts of essential fatty acids and medicinal properties. The species Argania once covered North Africa and is now endangered and under protection of UNESCO. Argan oil remains one of the rarest oils in the world due the small and very specific growing areas.

Suggested Use
For external use only. Use as a daily moisturizer and skin treatment on clean skin. Best used on exfoliated skin. Massage one pump into each of the five facial points. Can also lightly massage a small amount under eye. Can be used as a whole body moisturizer as well as a hydrating nail treatment (moisturizes cuticles) and moisturizing hair treatment (controls frizz and protects hair from heat styling tools and environmental factors). As a massage oil, Argan oil proves highly beneficial for those suffering arthritis or rheumatism.
All Argan sold today is produced by a women's cooperative that shares the profits among the local women of the Berber tribe. The cooperative has established an ecosystem reforestation project so that the supply of Argan oil will not run out and the income that is currently supporting the women will not disappear. The money is providing healthcare and education to the local women, and supporting the entire community as a whole.
